Chris commented on his own time: "last climb after during 110km Bright-ovens-rosewhite-Mt beauty loop. Rained the whole way. 7 deg at the top. much easier than during the '06 Alpine classic when it was 47 deg!"
Chris commented on his own time: "1st time up. Doing it hard until cement creek, then it eased. wet roads & about 900% humidity. Head wind after cement crk. Decided to sprint when I saw the 1km to go sign only to discover that the tower is a further 1.5km after the gate!. "
Chris commented on his own time: "Extremely humid, then the heavens opened. Rained from about 1/2 way...the descent wasn't much fun, it started hailing as well"
Chris commented on his own time: "1st time up...what a buzz!...this is now my all time favourite climb. Rode conservatively..had heard all the horror stories of the last 10km...wasn't nearly as bad as I thought...could take 15 mins off this time without much effort (& will next time!)"
Chris commented on his own time: "hadn't done any climbing for months & got talked into this. Quite steep (8% ave) but has some flatter parts that you can recover on. 1st climb of an 'over & back' session "
