David commented on George Mallory's time: "Top effort! And good to hear that I'm not the only cyclist who rides without a helmet :-)"
David commented on his own time: "Took it easy for most of the way, to enjoy the great scenery."
David commented on his own time: "Saw two wallabies on the descent - so glad they didn't hop out to say "Hello" :-)"
David commented on his own time: "PS Time to Police Station
2:54:57 to Audax checkpoint (Gateway Cafe)"
David commented on his own time: "Trying to get fit (in a hurry) for a ride in the Snowy Mountains next month. The original plan was to do Cathedral Saddle in the afternoon, but I was struggling to get back to the car (in Mt Beauty). 6 degrees @ the BOM weather station (at 1765 metres). I've never felt so cold in December! Max HR 149"

Hey JDL,
If you're happy to pay the postage, I'll give you one for free (still sealed in the bag).

Couldn't agree with you more, Michael. My flat bar road bike weighs 13 kgs, but I got change out of $1000. A mate of mine reckons I'd enjoy cycling more on a light bike, but I'm not about to change :)
PS That bike in the photo is my mate's Colnago!
