01 Jul 2010 2:07 PM posted in What Helmet?
In short, I am Looking at buying a new helmet. I am amazed at the diference in price from LBS to wiggle pbk etc. Anyone know the diference between AS and the EN standards?
Im looking at getting a Giro Ionos (or similar style helmet). Have looked at PBK and have narrowed the search down to Giro Ionos or the Kask Vertigo. The Ionos says it meets CE EN 1070 certification. How does this compare to Australian standards? I love the look of the Kask Vertigo but have not heard much about these.... ionos is very well marketed and popular among the pro riders.
What do you think? What can u recommend?
