I bought the Scott Addict R3 (2009) this winter and I am very, very impressed - it's a great bike and suits me really well, I've put on 2-3km/h average for sure since getting it. Not to mention the bling factor... but that's another story. I got it for a fantastic price too - $4k new instead of the $5.7k list price - at Bikes Direct on Dandenong Road... wasn't in stock but they got it in for me. Couldn't find a price to anywhere near match that anywhere in Melbourne. Still, the '10 bikes have presumably gone up in price even though the specs don't seem to be as good as they were. I've had Giant bikes in the past but for me can't go past the stiffness and responsiveness of the Scott carbon frames

Hope it doesn't come in 3's because I've been hit twice in the last 3 months... cyclists seem to be the last thing on people's minds especially at night and especially when travelling fast. Hope you feel better soon - have rest, keep it warm, get some physio.
