I've got the 305 and even though I would like the 705, it does everything I need. I would imagine a world of price difference at the moment, depends on what you will use it for. The 305 does everything I want except Watts. Has been great and very reliable. I bought the bike mount recently which has been good.

Have just bought the Ayups and used them at the recent 24hr 'Dirty Weekend'. Was able to set them up for two bikes as they come with extra mounts and two small batteries. Just had to move the actually lights between rides. Took 2 seconds.
They where brilliant and attracted many comments from other riders. In fact, they where easily the most popular but the Niteflux looked great too, they just seem a lot bigger and more cumbersome than the Ayups.
I bought them for my road bike more than anything as when i ride at night one of the roads has no street lights. They light up the entire street - fantastic.
What I really like though is that the two beams can be adjusted, so I have one in front of my wheel and one into the distance.
They are light, and the two battery system is brilliant.

Sunday, after a terribly wet and wild night, resorted to a RPM class at the gym![/quote]
Soft!
You need to re-read:
i got home last night at 10pm and grabbed some gloves and headed up to corkscrew in the rain. did 10 laps up and down. following cycle2max protocol of course
on the last lap i left my lights and clothing at the top and did a naked run. i had to sprint up fast to stay away from hypothermia.

Did the Mountain Bike thing today at Cudlee Creek Forest to prepare for next weekends 24hour 'dirty weekend'. Hasn't been used in a long time but good fun. Looking forward to oit. Got all rugged up after yesterdays soaking but it was beautiful conditions for riding.
10 times up and down Corkscrew is some pretty impressive training :-)

Yep, got soaked. Only saw two other people riding. That rain hurts in the face :-)
I need to buy some wet weather gear I think!
