Guy commented on his own time: "Not very fit at the moment!"
Guy commented on his own time: "First ride up this hill, part of a long 147km hilly ride so not flat out. Lots of water/drinks onboard the bike and Camelback. Could easily take 5-10 mins off in a genuine PB attempt, probably more."
Guy commented on his own time: "Probably had another 10-20 seconds in me, didn't go flat out at the bottom. MUCH FITTER now than when I last did this climb."
Guy commented on his own time: "First go at Mt Stromlo, legs felt ordinary (haven't climbed hills for a while)."
Guy commented on his own time: "Damn near killed me that last 5km, had a short stop (about a minute) just after Gov't Bend to flush out the lactic acid. Very hot afternoon, well over 30 and road was sticky (melted tar). Also warmed up a bit too hard (rode from Nelligen) and didn't have enough water. Overall I'm reasonably happy but I felt like I could shave a good few minutes off my time on a cooler day and with a Camelbak - but, excuses don't make for faster times! :P"
