Matt commented on his own time: "Max effort. PB by more than a minute."
Matt commented on his own time: "Pretty happy with this time given how little training I've done lately. Plus, from memory, the last time I rode this climb I was a few kg lighter. It'll be interesting to see how much faster I can do this climb in a few months time..."
Matt commented on his own time: "First time up this gorgeous climb. Quiet road, nice surface and just some amazing scenery. I'll be back that's for sure."
Matt commented on his own time: "First climb after several months off the bike. Struggled a lot early but felt pretty good by the end. Time is approximate and with a bit of training, I could easily take 5-10 minutes off this time."
Matt commented on his own time: "After snapping by gear cable in the first 5km of the 3 Peaks Challenge I was forced to climb the Gap in the 39x12. Needless to say I had a pretty low cadence but, remarkably, I climbed it 6 minutes quicker than my attempt two weeks ago."

Hi all. Matt from The Climbing Cyclist]http://theclimbingcyclist.com/ here.
In terms of the start point for the Kinglake climb, I've got a photo on my website that might work. There's a yellow "windy road" sign where the "6km winding road" sign used to be. Have a look here: http://theclimbingcyclist.com/climbs/kinglake/kinglake/
Hope that helps.
Best,
Matt
