Stuart commented on his own time: "Strength effort in 53"15. Seems that a big gear is the way to ride the bumps on this climb - never go quite as quick spinning up. Grinding the gear all the way, never really dropped under 28, but never really much above 30. Strange days - only decided to come out for some hills instead of racing because I thought my fitness was fading - ran a PB...!"

Stuart commented on his own time: "An extended pre-climb toilet stop gave Skezza, Simon, JD, Johnny Marcan and Steve P a head start, and gave me some carrots to chase. Tried to keep a good momentum to the summit and felt pretty good all the way - big ring wherever possible. Not a race effort, but as hard as I'm ever inclined to ride in training..."

Stuart commented on his own time: "Gave it a good go - started out as a strengthy and had good legs so opened up just for fun... Verification is a bit dodgy - didn't time it directly, but had 75s on Kermit who timed his run at 15:45, so have taken off a bit of time for measurement error :-) 32km/hr for the first couple of k's, dropped to ~28 for the middle section as the over-geared effort started to bite (53"15), but cranked back up to 30-33km in the 53"19 for the last 2-3kms."

Stuart commented on David Deery's time: "So close!!! Surely you had another 4.001 secs!"

Stuart commented on his own time: "Tonight's crit cancelled due to wet weather, so did a single hard effort to blow off some steam. Had a 21-11 cluster, so a touch over geared, but got to the 1st carpark sign where Greeny and his soft mates finish in 8:24, and to the summit by a touch ove"
