Simon commented on Simon Bristow's time: "As usual, went too hard too early, and ran out of steam 2/3 of the way up. I never learn - there always seems to be one extra hairpin that I forget about on this climb! Bit slippery on the steeper switchbacks after all the recent rain on the peninsula made gear choices interesting."
Simon commented on Simon Bristow's time: "Ride time of 7:52. My pre-ride carbo load plan of 4 days of pasta backfired (literally) on me as my over-enthusiastic digestive system encouraged me to make over 25 minutes of (mostly) unscheduled stops. I'll be back next year for a sub-8 hopefully. A hard but great day."
